Experience

Mr. Barile dedicated more than 50 years to the art and science of engineering design.  With his guidance Damiano Barile Engineers, P.C. became one of the region’s leading consulting engineering firms.  Mr. Barile started his career in the early 1950’s and served in Rome, Italy as Liaison Consultant for the Place Victoria Project in Montreal, Canada.  In the 1960’s he continued his pursuit of excellence in engineering and was the lead mechanical engineer and project manager on such important projects as the Hudson River Museum Complex in Yonkers, NY.  He also supervised the design and construction of the Forest Biology Laboratory and Library buildings for the State University of New York, Syracuse, NY.  In 1972 Mr. Barile joined Tom Damiano in establishing our firm.  Together they developed a practice that fosters a collegial approach to the profession of engineering emphasizing robust, practical solutions with our client’s interest placed first.  He maintains regular contact with the firm and is an invaluable resource for engineering expertise.
