Academic Leadership Charter School is located in a transitioning neighborhood in the Bronx, New York. Designed to serve a diverse and growing student population, the school provides a welcoming environment that supports learning, development, and lasting community impact.

Barile Gallagher & Associates, in partnership with Peter Gisolfi Associates, was recognized for its work on the newly constructed, seven-story, multi-level educational facility.

BGA designed the building’s complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems, including:

• High-efficiency boiler plant
• VRF heat pump systems
• Chiller plant serving classrooms and large assembly spaces
• Data communications infrastructure
• Sound system and theatrical lighting
• Emergency generator providing full building backup power

The school provides a high-quality, enhanced learning environment that supports student success.
